Entertainment News!
So, I rented 'Knocked Up', and so far (half-way through it) it's very funny, living up to much of the hype. But the big news is: new 'Bring It On' movie! And in this one the two teams that have to set aside their differences and come together to win it all in this one are the Sharks and Jets... REALLY?! I'm having 'West Side Story' flash backs already!
Anyways... the new season of 'Heroes' started last night, and it was fantastic! Spoiler alert: you were all right, neither Petrelli died at the end of last season, and Hiro's big ancient Japanese Samurai hero is really a piece-of-shit Brit who wanted to make some money!
'Family Guy' had a great premiere: a one hour salute to the first 'Star Wars' movie blending George Lucas' epic story telling with staple Seth McFarlane humor. But I'm not sold on the season, last season was not up to par. And I'm so glad 'Metalacolypse' is back and as brutal as ever.
Also looking good this season: 'Chuck', 'Back to You', and 'The Big Bang Theory'. My vote for Rookie of the season: 'Chuck' which is about a guy that work at a "Nerd Herd" located in a "Buy More" super store, who basically becomes a supercomputer for the government capable of piecing together seemingly random things that turn out to be terrorist plots or something of the like.
