John takes to fatherhood surprisingly well.
His relationship with Molly, on the other hand, is rapidly deteriorating. She doesn't want to go
back to work, doesn't want to help around the house, and shows zero interest in her child.
After days of constant arguing, they decide to call it quits.
John's first day as a single dad isn't starting off so well. "Why is it crying now?!"
"Hmm."
"I guess she is pretty cute."
The phone is ringing off the hook and to make matters worse, his computer breaks.
Is that all you're going to write?
His investigation leads him to the tattoo parlor where he stumbles across this pretty lady.
Her name's Terri and she's one of the tattoo artists. He hopes to see her around.
But first things first! Birthday time.
John has no patience for these things.
Matilda as a toddler!
The house received a considerable remodel, including a second bedroom for Matilda.
The first snowfall of the season.
John spends as much time as possible with his daughter.
But there are still lots of times when the sitter has to be called.
One night, once Matilda falls asleep, John sees if maybe Terri wants to come over.
She's here!
They spend the first few minutes arguing about the Sim City Llamas...
After which Terri seems impressed.
I think John considers the night a success, even if it ended without a kiss.
Working on Matilda's skills in his free time.
Then it's back out to the cold.
Caught going through the Langerak's mail!
Iliana doesn't mind. In fact, she invites him to "snoop" around her bedroom!
As tempting as that may have been a few days ago, John is much more excited to go on a
date with Terri.
He entertains himself while he waits for her downtown....
And waits... and waits...
Unfortunately, Terri had to work late and couldn't make it after all.
As disappointed as he is, John tries one last time to flirt with Agnes Crumplebottom at his
gift-giving party the next day. She isn't having it.
He also invited Terri, but she sent her roommate Jocelyn in her place.
Agnes isn't impressed with her gift at all. I didn't even get to see what it was!
Afterwards, while working on his skills, he's surprised by a knock at the door.
Terri apologizes for missing the party, and for cancelling their date the other night. She
admits her attraction for John and also explains her commitment issues. after having been
hurt in the past. But she's willing to try again if he is.
Of course he is!
As long as Terri doesn't mind the fact that he has a daughter...
And she doesn't.
Now, a little less talk and a lot more action!
