DAY 11 -> A SHOW THAT DISAPPOINTED YOU
I knew exactly what show this would be when I saw it on the list. That show is Secret Life of the American Teenager. First, I ask myself why I even wanted to watch it. Well, I thought it would be interesting and I wanted to see how they would handle the subject and I wanted to see the character go through the trials of pregnancy and she what choice she would make and what not. All the characters want is sex. Yes, they are in high school, but is sex drive really that prominent among high school students? I didn't think about it and I'm sure people didn't talk about it all the time when I was in high school. The characters that I liked became annoying. The main character became a whiny bitch that I didn't care about. Her friends were selfish. Her sister who started out funny was annoying. I wanted to slap her boyfriend. The Christian girl gave up her morals and then slept with her boyfriend and thought that having sex killed her dad. The pastor was stupid. I wanted to slap him. Overall, the characters were annoying. I stopped watching the show. I was trying to find the scene that turned me off to this show, but I can't locate it. Basically, the pastor comes in after Grace's dad dies and says that he doesn't believe that premarital sex is wrong! Okay, he's a pastor!! I thought he would come in and say something good, but he said something idiotic and I tuned out from the show from there on. Now, everyone is having sex and other people are pregnant.... it's ridiculous.
