2. The Golden Compass
3. The Subtle Knife
4. The Amber Spyglass
You have to read them in this order because you need to know the standards of Atlas Shrugged in order to see the contradictions in the His Dark Materials trilogy. Since you will see the contradictions because you know the philosophy of Atlas Shrugged, you will figure out that the contradictions are only a result of culture, and then you will see how to think about it correctly and know that there are actually no contradictions. And so then you will be fully enlightened!!
