This past weekend, Austin and I found what could possibly be the best series of books ever. I know I said that I don't plan on reading any books for a month or so, to save my eyeballs, but these books almost make me NOT CARE ABOUT MY VISION.

On top of discovering awesome books about warrior cats, Austin and I went to see 28 Weeks Later. It was... not awesome. We actually walked out of the movie after a kind of lengthy first-person night-vision scene. I have a lot of love for 28 Days Later and while I didn't expect the sequel to be anywhere near as good, I at least expected it to not suck. I mean, I LOVE zombies and their movies. A zombie movie has to be pretty darn bad for me to not get some sort of enjoyment out of it. 28 Weeks Later wasn't even scary. There were extreme bits of gore, but they were separated to the point that when they happened, they really weren't all that frightening or gross. Just sort of pointless and silly. Don't even get me started on the plot or the writing. Such a let-down.

In other news, my mom and I are joining a yoga class tonight. I came home last night to find brand new yoga mat on my bed with a note that read: "Jess - 5:30pm Tuesday yoga?" Tonight should be... interesting.
