Shit. Just took the bike out for a road test. I've gone 120mph in a road car, but I'm not sure I've ever quite felt so... fast.
At this time of night the streets around me are vacant, especially the windies in the nearby park, so I took the bike out and just dug in...
(mattio, the tallest ratio is 100.3 gear inches (i calculated) and while that's damn nice, I could love for one extra sprocket back there)
After gunning down a straightaway, I squeezed the brakes. they made a terrible shrieking sound (wtf?) but brought the bike to a very fast stop, locking up the wheels and I definitely smelled burnt rubber....
oh man. Road-bike fast is a gritty, awesome fast.
