So I usually don't find females attractive. I have an automatic "whatever" mode for heterosexual women. I find them attractive and beautiful in that fabulous "yay, humanity is so beautiful!"
I just started browsing more lesbian-friendly websites. It's interesting to see these women... and then catch myself being so attracted to these images. But I find this trap... many of the images on gay sites just fall into the same trend of posting skinny white blond women. Or these women that are posted as "hot" may not necessarily look mainstream because they have short hair and rock some badass tattoos, but they are definitely socially acceptable. It's frustrating because as queer womyn we can't just borrow the lens of beauty that our male-dominated society uses, or else we're just perpetuating this idea of "beauty"
anyway. lots of hot queer womyn. yay.
