I watched House, Weeds and Prison Break last night. Weeds is quickly becoming a huge favorite of mine. Up there with the best of them. House came back as strong as ever, but it could just be the fact that they started out with "Feel Good Inc". Meanwhile Prison Break has continued to faltersince its debut episode of Season 2. Better than most of CBS's lineup, but still not as good as last season.
I'm sad to say I also checked out MyNetworkTV last night as well. Their telenovella format wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and was more along the lines of a Spelling drama than a daytime soap. 6 shows a week for 13 weeks. Must be an insane production schedule. I love the fact that these shows will have a beginning, middle and end. No season 2. Just a story that can live or die on its own terms. Desire, the show with the horrible name, was actually much better than Fashion House with its 80's icon stars. No matter really, since I'm not going to watch either show ever again.
Last night reminded me just how much TV I watch during the fall. I was planning to go out and get the Lost Season 2 DVD set after catching up on my TV, but then I realized that I would have more than enough television to keep me busy for a while here soon. Shows are starting to debut now, and are splattered all the way through October. A lot won't make the cut, but there's a lot out there that I'll check out for 2-3 episodes and then some.
