Labor Day...
So, last week at work was a little weird, mainly due to it being cut in half a bit by the Tropical Storm. We had two days on, then a day off for the storm (which ended up being a great day to get stuff done around the house and town), then a day on, and then a 1/2 day on Friday in anticipation of the Labor Day Weekend, getting out of work at noon.
Over the Labor Day weekend Rachael and I took the chance to do some work around the apartment. We steamed and tore the Wallpaper down in our Bathroom, which had apparently been up since 19861 since there was only bare drywall underneath. We choose to use the leftover paint we had used in the rest of the apartment, using the cappuccino over the sink and shower and the cream on the other walls.
Racahel started on more pillows, but we think her needle arm might be out of alignment since we keep on breaking needles, and we know that we're using the right gauge now. I think she might get a new one for Christmas or her Birthday. We spent a lot of time with Rachael's sisters2 and her family since everyone was in town for the weekend and had a great meal Sunday night with her Nana and grandpa.
This week should be interesting as well, since we have three full days (today, Wednesday and Thursday) and then the Office Picnic on Friday.
