(no subject)
Sometimes this song come on itunes or on my iPod. It's a song of which I'm very fond and which is not known by very many people at all.
In fact, I only know one person who knows the song, and I don't even really know that person, since we've never met. But we've talked through the magic of "the intarweb". It's one of those songs that says "I may be bowed, but I shall not be broken". Sometimes I find it very... if not inspirational, at least therapeutic. I will probably never meet this person, this fellow appreciator of this wonderful song. We live in different hemispheres. However, despite the fact that we shall probably never once meet in our entire lives, it gives me this strange sense of satisfaction and, I dunno, camaraderie(?) to know that this person is out there. And that's kinda cool.
