(no subject)
so i guess a lot has happend in the past couple days.
Sunday
Today was the day that guitar hero 3 came out for.... everything. I get to work from 7-330, and i have this bad habit, where sometimes im still at work, an hour or two after my shift. its not because i want to be there, but its because we have really bad staff and we are short handed at the moment, so if i dont do things, they wont get done until the next day or the next or whenever im in next. aaaaanyways.
off at 330 and i jet on down to future shop. i am so excited for a wireless controller and being able to play on xbox 360. i get there and guess what. sold out of xbox 360. they have it for everything else but not xbox. i want it for the xbox because of the achevements (i feel like i've done something with my life if i have those) and because i dont know anyone else with a ps3, so playing mulitplayer on ps3 would require me to get 2 copies of the same game, just to have 2 controllers.
They say they have 3 more in the back, but they cant sell to me because they are for an excange. whatever.
to walmart! i get to walmart and guess what? they have it. its 30 bucks cheaper too! im so happy i buy it and run to the car. when i get to the car i look more at the box and see that this peice of shit comes with that wired controller that gh2 came with. argh! no wonder it was cheaper, and not sold out.
so i go to zellers, they dont have it. i go to rogers and they dont have it. (didnt think they would) i go to block buster... they dont even know what it is. (what useless staff). and then to superstore, who sell it but without the guitar at all. when i got home i carefully opened it without ripping or damaging anything on the box. i used a razer to open the game case out of the shrink wrap without tearing it. the plan is to play it (which i have, and its rocks) and then return it in an unopend box for a full refund when future shop has more wireless controllers. or if walmart gets them i'll just exchange.
Monday
I worked 4-12 today and ran home to play gh3. i played so much, but i didnt beat it yet. (good) i made breakfast for lunch and spaghetti for dinner. while making dinner i get a phone call.

ow, nothing much mary, im just making dinner.
WELL WE ARE HAVING A GATHERING OF PEOPLE TO SIT AROUND FIRE AND ROAST WEENIES AND MARSHMELLOWS AND CARVE PUMPKINS AND DRINK APPLE CIDER, WANT TO COME DOWN?
Mary, that sounds awesome, i'll come down after dinner, and i'll bring a pumpkin!

I eat dinner and then mosey down there. theres about 10 of us and 18 pumpkins. we all sit around and drink beer, share a doob or two, roast weenies, the usual. then we go to the front yard to carve pumpkins (i forgot, chels made this awesome apple cider, i drank like 8 mugs. no lie)
man did we carve. it was fun as hell. apparently there was a prize for best pumpkin at the end... so i start thinking of an award worthy pumpkin to carve. i carve a few regular ones. with everyone and then they go back to the fire to warm up. so im by myself and carving a pumpkin.
first i carve 2 stick people. ones bigger then the other, and the bigger one has his hand streched out towards the smaller ones crotch regin. then i zest the side of it leaving a big white area which i care into it STAY AWAY! WE MOLEST! (i ran out of room for 'children') i quietly go get a candle and put it inside, leaving the pumpkin on teh dark walkway on the side of the house.
I go get mary.
she was loooooooooud, and that made everyone else run to see. everyone bursts out laughing and they declare me with winner. i won a beer! we go back to the fire for more beer and doob and marys mom comes out.
MOM, GO SEE THE PUMPKIN!
she does. we are all silent as she goes around the corner to see it. a verry concerned 'Oh no' emits from the side as we all erupt into a fit of laughter.

work 7-330 and then after work i go eat chinese food with family thats in town. not really my family at all either... more like my dad and step mom and her family. anyways. kinda awkward for me cause we just had to go where my ex... thing... works. (yes steph)
whatever, free dinner.
after dinner i come home and get drunk with the roomies and they convince me to go to the bar tonight. (halloween) they are going to pay for a costume, predrink, bar drinks and ride home (cab) so its kinda hard to turn down. i think we are going to gullys?
i'll keep you posted on what happens tonight.
