If she ever managed to get out of this mess, she was going to make sure she told Will Turner just how much he meant to her.
Elizabeth stared out the porthole of the cabin she was locked in and desperately prayed for a miracle. She had no idea what plans the pirate captain might have for her, but she was pretty sure that they definitely did not include returning her safely to Port Royal. She bit her lip and dropped her head against the wooden wall of the ship.
If only she hadn't demanded to see their captain, then maybe none of this would have happened.
At the time, she couldn't think of anything else to do that would have stopped the violent attack on her home. When the two pirates that had come to her house had calmly and callously shot her butler, she knew she had to think of something to stop them and their fellows from hurting anyone else. Of course, demanding parlay from the two pirates that had trapped her in the closet probably wasn't one of her better ideas. However, at the time, she had been at a loss as to what else to do.
Now?
Now she was trapped on a ship with a band of pirates and she had no idea where they were going or how long they planned to keep her here.
