Will entered the room and found Elizabeth still pacing. He wasn't sure how long she'd been waiting, or when she was expecting the Halliwells, but she clearly looked worried.

"Do you think they'll come?"

He would miss their new friends as well, but he knew going home was something they had to try. They would both be happier there.

Elizabeth forced a smile, not wanting him to worry.

"I think they will..." she said quietly, hope in her eyes. "They both said before to call for anything."

Will nods. "Then they'll be here."

He hopes. He doesn't want to see Elizabeth disappointed if they can't manage this. They both got here once before, there has to be a way for them to go back.

Elizabeth nodded and then moved close to him to take his hand.

"They'll come...and they'll send us home."

Will squeezed her hand and nodded. "All right. Then why don't we sit down while we wait? Pacing isn't going to make them get here any faster."

Elizabeth hugged him, and then went to sit down with him. When they were seated, she lay her head on his shoulder.

"This is truly alright with you?"

Will wrapped an arm around her shoulders and smiled.

"Aye. I want to go home as much as you do. I miss Port Royal."

He was a little worried about the Governor's reaction to their absence, truth be told. The man must be going crazy, searching for his daughter and suspecting Will of some misdeed as a result. For all he knew, he'd be strung up for piracy the moment they returned. Still, it would be worth the risk to be home again.

Elizabeth was having the same worries about her father that Will was having, truth be told, but she wasn't going to bring them up yet. No point in worrying him about it until they knew if they could get home or not.

"It's been fun being here," she said softly. "But it's not home. I miss the sea and I miss Port Royal."

"So do I." Will fell quiet for a moment, then laughed softly. "I even miss Mr. Brown a little."

This did make Elizabeth laugh as well.

"I think I kind of miss some of the soldiers, too."

He couldn't help tensing slightly, even though he knew there was no reason to. Old insecurities are hard to break sometimes.

"Commadore Norrington?"

Now there's one person in Port Royal Will couldn't say he missed one bit.

Elizabeth turned to look at him.

"I don't miss him half as much as I missed you when you had been gone only a handful of days."

She hadn't exactly said she didn't miss Norrington, and Will couldn't help frowning a bit at the thought. He'd always feel that quick stab of jealousy where the Commodore was concerned, no matter how unfounded it might be.

To cover his silly reaction, Will gave Elizabeth a squeeze and kissed the top of her head. "I love you."

"He was a good friend, Will," she said quietly. "But I want to be with you." She tightened her arms around him. "I love you."

Will leaned his cheek against her hair and sighed. "I know. Forgive me. I know how he felt about you, and while I can hardly blame him for it, I can't help feeling jealous sometimes."

Elizabeth smiled. "What he felt for me has never been how I feel about anyone but you. I do understand the jealousy, beloved. I have felt the same way when I have seen other girls watching you."
