If it hadn't been for the attack of the Pirates on Port Royal, I may not have been able to ever answer this question. I've felt alone most of my life, so when I started being shown that I wasn't alone, it was a bit hard to get used to.
I think the time that stands out the most was when I was in that Pirate cave with Barbossa and his crew.
Barbossa had knocked me down after finding I had tricked him. I was lying on the ground when I felt a hand suddenly grasp mine. When I turned my head, I saw a sight that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
Will was holding my hand and he was directing me to safety and escape. He never let go of me and he made sure that I didn't fall behind or get lost. When we got to the ship, he looked me over and took care of me.
Will had risked everything to save my life, and in that moment I knew that I would never be alone in this world ever again.
