Bonjour,
I am multi-tasking in my procrastinating; I am avoiding a)studying/learning Cyrano de Bergerac, and b)cleaning up cat puke. I need to reread C de B because I didn't get it the first time, and everytime Mme says we're going to talk about it in class, she gets coerced into watching a movie instead. Like C.R.A.Z.Y.! Only the best French movie EVER. Omg sooo good. Haha I was telling my mom how it was such an awesome movie, and then her being a French teacher was like "Would I like it?" and I was like "Er......*ponders whether to talk about the million or so scenes involving Zac having an orgasm*......no, you wouldn't." Heh. Although watching it with her could not be worse than that time we saw Borat. Even so.
I went shopping at Rideau today! The whole point of going was to exchange some lululemon pants.....forgot them at home lol. So I bought some new ones anyway and will return the other ones later. The prices are so ridiculous but I'm a sell-out so I gave in. I suck. But on the bright side, the new pants have a pink stripe of LOVE. Yay love stripes. Also? For those of you who have never been into one of their change rooms (basically Alex...not sure about you ladies), they have 3-ways in them on one wall, and then another single panel of mirror parallel to it, so it's great because you can see everything, but then again it sucks because you can see everything. It was kind of shocking. How often do you have the chance to stare at your butt/back-of-legs without craning your neck? Every time you go to lululemon, that's how often. I also bought a basic purple t-shirt from Smart Set which is the prettiest purple eeeever, and a black sweater-vesty type of thing. *is content* My mam went into MAC to buy some lip gloss, and guess who helped her? A gay guy!!!!!!! LOVE. And there was another one too who was wearing a beret! I think I will post a wanted-ad in the paper for a gay friend. Endless love and amusement (not in a mean way, in an I-can't-believe-you-just-did-that way). But enough fantasizing over gay men.
Cheaper by the Dozen always makes me happy, without fail. It's amazing.
Einstein's first name was Albert, not Alfred, right? Yesterday on the practice sight passage I talked about Einstein in the personal response, and I couldn't figure out which name to use. I settled on Albert, which I'm pretty sure is right. Alfred is a cruel name. Nobody should be named this. That, and Humphrey. Hubert's kind of a cute name. Hube for short. Omg Herb! I love that name.
My room is disastrous. I haven't put my dirty clothes in the laundry room for a week, so there are clothes strewn about and my schoolwork is strewn about *is liking the word 'strewn'* and...heyyyy is strewn a word? Now it sounds funny. Strewn. Strewed? Aaaaaah *dies of stress because realizes will fail English exam with this vocabulary*
Semester 2 is almost here!!! Yayyyyy! I'm going to miss English class, but not the work/in-class essays. Dr. Strong is awesome. So are the people. Well most of them... And French I will miss only because it's soooo easy, but I will not miss the frustration of learning NOTHING. I hate philosophy but I'm going to miss M. Boudreault so much :( I'm going to miss him and his hair-hat and his one unruly eyebrow and his sweater-vests and his calling my work "des bijoux de travail"! *cries* However, semester 2 should be awesome. Music = yay easy! History = fun with Karen and Jake. And Ms. Johnson seems awesome. And I'm told it's fairly easy. Bio = yayyy! Harder, but the material is so awesome. Grade 11 bio was actually my favorite high school class ever. So awesome. And Mr. Gibson seems nice as a person. Although he will never measure up to Mrs. Verreault *glares furiously at Bell* And spare with Julie! Huzzah! We shall have goodtimes. It will be our last high school semester ever. Unreal. It's going by really quickly. I'm a bit sad, but it's also pretty exciting. Speaking of which (sort of) I want my grad clothing! I think I ordered the maroon hoodie. I think. Either maroon or white. Hmmm.
I'm running out of things to say. This means I have to go stuy and clean up cat vomit. Gross. My plan is to read C de B, and review the important parts of Hamlet. I also have to read some philo texts. Since we've never had a test in philo and there's not really test material per se, he's given us 2 texts that will be on the exam that we have to write about. I like this because since the exam is on Monday I have the whole weekend to prepare. Awesome possum. Hope you guys aren't too stressed (but who am I kidding).
Love that's strewn(?) about,
~Becky xo
