Ok, so after yesterdays, shockingly nice weather, today is cold again. I get back home from school, open the door and think, 'gee... this house is cold'. Then I go to hang my coat up and figure out why. Now first, there are two vents that dump heat into the main hall. One is under the coatrack... so it warms shoes and coats. The other is in the middle of the hall. And the first thing I saw when I got home was a CAT lying on the heating duct, in the middle of the hall. I look at him. And he meows at me. So that is why the room is cold... but it shouldn't be THIS cold. 'A glove must be covering the other vent'. So I leave the lazy orange cat sitting on the vent to unclog the other.... well I'm going to need a plunger to do so or something. Another chubby cat is sitting under the coatrack over THAT vent! Two cats, two vents, lots of hair, and no heat.
Those hairy bastards.
