Sparrington fic
So quite a while ago I did a huge binge of Sparrington fics I found recced, and while I've managed to track down most of the ones I remember, one has managed to elude me. Because I read it at the same time as a bunch of other Sparrington fics, I'm a little fuzzy on the details.
I'm almost positive this was the very first scene of the fic. James was drinking with Groves and Gillette. It was sort of a tradition with them and they took off their hats so they would all be equals.
James ended up on the Black Pearl for most of the fic.
Two other details I'm pretty sure were from this fic but could easily be other fics I read at the time: I think there was sex (or at least cuddles) on a beach. Later on, James talked to Groves and Gillette again and realized they were in a relationship.
If you can point me in the direction of this fic that would be fantastic. It's been driving me crazy for months now because I can't find it.
