The first few days in Seikatsu were absolutely chaotic. Gilbert Beilschmidt, an old friend of mine, welcomed and introduced me into the school in the most extraordinary way. That video along with that incident in the dorms has caused unnecessary damage to both of us. As most of you are aware of what happened, I will not discuss it here. I do not recommend nor do I want to encourage anyone to see what it was about. If you have seen it, do not ever mention it around my presence or I swear to you there would be repercussions. This is my first and only warning.
In every school it seems that one would encounter different types of individuals. There are those like Gilbert and Bebe Stevens who actively participate in various school activities and there are others who stick to their interests. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Momo Hinamori and Lavi Bookman who are part of the newspaper club and they are two very different people as well. Whichever group you belong to, let me just say, let us all work hard.
The professors, as far as I’ve seen, are qualified to do their work and I must say that they do so truly well. I’d like to leave it at that and hope for the best in the future. It would be a pleasure if sometime we’ll be able to have discussions outside of class.
Messages to the professors:
Professor Hawkeye: Thank you for your concern. I’m touched that you’d reach out to an errant student like that and I shall keep your words in mind. If I follow Gilbert one of these days, I believe I’ll be able to meet Colonel Mustang. I hope to see and observe just what you meant.
Professor Hughes: I’ve yet to join your class, but I have much to discuss with you. Would you like to have some tea while discussing the influence of history on our present circumstances, Professor Hughes? If it’s too much over time for you, we could discuss something that you are interested in. Do you suppose we could go to the museum in town? I’ve received tickets from my father. We could bring several more people as I have more to spare.
Colonel Mustang: I pray for your safety but though Gilbert is an incorrigible tosser, I just want you to know that he has his good points. (Gilbert, if you’re reading this, shut your gob and sod off.)
I’m in need of a chaperon to visit the bookstore in town. I've ordered several books from there and to minimize charges, I thought to get them there by myself. If no one is available, please do not worry yourself, I’ll ask them to be delivered here instead. Thank you for your time.
Transferring to Seikatsu during my Junior year was a risky move to make. But at this moment, I do not regret making such a decision and I do hope that no event in the future will change my mind.
X
Arthur Kirkland
Note: Regretfully, my first entry was used for a purpose I’m not proud of. I’ve done what I can to repair damages that I’ve caused. I apologize again to those who are affected and/or offended.
