Why hello there!
It's been a while. Infact, I have no idea when or what I wrote about last. School is keeping me super busy and here we are, eleven weeks into this semester, and my break is just around the corner.
Assignments have kept me ridiculously busy - disgustingly so. I can safely say that I have never had this many assignments, not even in Level 1 or Level 2. They're all now completed, handed in, and a stack have been marked and returned. So far, so good. I'm sitting on mainly D's and HD's which I'm pleased about and I only have two final exams which are both this Friday. I have yet to start studying but I'm hoping to start tomorrow. I hope.
Midterm is going to absolutely awesome. Tim, Annika, Sofie and myself are all heading to Melbourne in just over a week. Flying down there with four of my best buds is going to be splendid. We're also meeting up with a few people from school while we're down there so hopefully it will be a full four days of partying. So damn excited!
Next semester will certainly be interesting. New subjects, new room mate, new everything. Every student that we have in this school will be different since we're technicially going to be in our final year, and Level 1's will be new and the current Level 2's will be going out to placement. Level 3.1's will be returning as well which means 100% new students. Should be awesome to have some new blood around.
Hmm...other exciting news...Graduation for the Level 3.2's is this Saturday but that's just the ceremony and school dinner and afterparty. It should be fun but the real shindig is on the 5th of November in Sydney which will be totally awesome. For reasons which I cannot express right now but will certainly do so post November 5th. It'll be great to hit the town after the official dinner at Sydney Harbour Marriott because as soon as the clock hits November 6th it'll be my 22nd birthday and we'll be hitting the town! Hells yes.
Speaking of birthdays, Annika and I have finally organised our double birthday bash which will be held on the 21st of November. We've planned a nice big get-together at the Lowenbrau Keller in Sydney, followed by a ridiculously trashy night on the town. I'm so excited! Can't wait to have a proper bash, it's gonna be insane.
Writing about these events is helping because there's so much on that I need to write it all down in order to remember it all. Graduation ceremony, midterm break, Melbourne, official Sydney graduation, official birthday, roadtrip to Canberra, double birthday bash, German cultural night, multiple school parties, Surf Camp, whitewater rafting, December graduation, official school break, Xmas, New Year's, official school return, final school semester, Perth trip with Annika, our OFFICIAL graduation, Wicked Camper roadtrip with Annika up the coast, done. That's just a small sample of my upcoming schedule for the next few months.
These past eleven weeks have also been incredibly busy. Apart from over a dozen assignments my campus life has been filled with multiple social events. Multiple school parties, multiple cultural nights, a painful Paintball experience which proved to be a load of fun, weekly trips to the local pubs and nightclubs, Xmas party, the list goes on.
All busy shit aside, life is good. A little stressful and financially destructive, but also fairly good. Talk soon, jellybeans.
Get some.
