Okay, so I'm pretty much packed and ready and still have about 1/2 an hour before Ben gets here to pick me up for our gang's trip up to Sam's place so I have time to tell this morning's best story.
This morning, I woke up and put my glasses on so I could see the time. 7:34 am. Too early ('cuz I have a hunch today will be a long day). So I look over at Mortimer and say, "Hey Mo, can you wake me up at 8:30?" and then I rolled over and went back to sleep.
A little later, Mortimer is still in the same spot, but is meowing. And meowing. I say, "Is it time already?", put my glasses on and look at the clock. 8:13. I say, "Oh! You misheard me... I said eight thirty - not eight thirteen... But it's close enough, thanks Mo."
