TOUCH A TRUCK! Once a year, the city of Eugene gathers together all sorts of big trucks and invites families to come out and let the kids climb all over (and inside) them. It is one of the highlights of the year for our family (and when you take the price (free!) into consideration, it might be the best event of the whole year). The boys had SO much fun.

The street sweeper awesomely has steering wheels on both sides!

Otto waited so patiently in line to get on the police motorcycle, and he didn't need any help getting up!

They had one of the Pepsi delivery trucks with the back open so kids could just run around inside.

The boys take a break on the fire engine before getting in the LOOOOONG line to climb on top of it.

All three of us went up on the fire engine. Look how high up we are!

Henry wanted to climb out on the big ladder. When I said no, he threw the biggest shit fit, including crazy body contortions. All this while I'm trying to get the boys safely down off the back of the fire engine... handing a screaming, writhing 30lb toddler down from an 8 foot height is a little tricky! Luckily, I was handing him down to a fire fighter, so I asked him if he was good at catching babies. He said "catching babies, delivering babies, whatever the job calls for!"

Some of the greatest warning signs I have ever seen on the side of the garbage truck.

See the whole set here.
