words, what?

I'm cranking right along with the quilting on Otto's sleeping bag. I had some tension issues (I stupidly let the ladies at the quilt shop scare me into lowering the tension on my machine too far, then didn't notice the little loops of invisible thread on the back of my quilting until I was nearly halfway done, but luckily it's invisible thread, so maybe no one will ever notice), but corrected them, so I'm moving faster now. I should be able to finish the quilting today, and hopefully get all the gajillion ends tied and cut, and then I'll be able to finish it off!

Otto has decided he doesn't need to wear diapers anymore. He went from very minimal interest in using the potty to suddenly using the potty all the time. He's been diaperless (in the daytime) for the last three days and only had two accidents! I bought him some teeny boxer briefs and he looks so cute and loves his big-boy underwear. Hooray!

Henry is his usual fat happy self. He's started talking more, which is pretty cute. We're going to the doctor for his 4 month well-baby visit today. I'm taking bets on what he weighs. My guess is 19 or 20 lbs. We're seeing a new doctor (our old pediatrician is moving to the new Riverbend Hospital site, which is just too far for us to follow her), so I'm a little apprehensive, but if we don't like him, we can always switch before the next checkup.

I love my darling husband, for a million different reasons. But this quote from his lj today reminded me again: "I don't particularly care about the guy one way or another, because as far as i'm concerned, anyone who steers this ship is going to be a quasi-demonic puppet monstrosity, i just want Obama voters to get over their big change from vanilla ice cream to chocolate & see who's serving the scoop."
