I sometimes have the same problem with Jaden. I know that feeling when he seems almost asleep and I start thinking, after I put him down I'll wash dishes, do homework, watch a movie, etc. and then bing! he's awake. Wah wah wahhhh... We just play with him a lot to get some of that energy out and try to nurse every half hour or so. It's totally frustrating!! but eventually he gives in.

I need that time for myself in the evenings after jaden's asleep too, otherwise I start to feel anxious and antsy. I can never get my ass to bed before 12 or 1am, which sucks for the days I work because I have to be up at 4:45am, the butt crack of dawn.

Ugh, I literally cannot function on that little sleep. I used to be the type who needed 8 hours every single night (otherwise I would get sick all the time), but luckily I can survive on less now that I'm a mom (what mom gets 8+ hours a night?!?!?). But still, if I were to stay up till 1, I would be sleeping on my desk at work.

Sometimes I realize I'm spacing out staring at my computer monitor at work. Ugh. I think the lack of sleep makes me feel kind of "under the weather" but I still can't get myself to bed earlier. it's actually something I've been working on...

I am right there with you, at 1:35 am. I need alone time, and as a mom, that's when I get it!

Seriously. It's much easier to deal with still being awake at 2am than it is to be WAKING UP at 4am. Although, sometimes I do both! ugh.
