update for Sunday & a question
I totally missed taking a P365 picture yesterday. This is becoming a pattern! Between starting 5 days late and missing all these days, I'm wondering if I'll be doing this project into February.
We had a lovely day yesterday. We rode our bikes over to McMenamin's for lunch, and except for having the slowest waiter ever (seriously, he was so slow, I was starting to wonder if we were on Candid Camera or something) it was a lovely ride and a delicious meal. We also went to the hardware store and got all the bits we need for our media cabinet and started working on that. I got all the shelves and cleats cut, and Sean painted the shelves. I'm going to attach the cleats today, and then Sean is painting the cabinet, and then we're ready to hook everything up! Well, we also need shutters or a door for the front, but that's just to keep little fingers out, and doesn't affect actual functionality.
I need to get a laptop so I can computer at home without being stuck in the computer closet (I want to go outside or sit in my studio while Otto is playing outside, etc.). Any recommendations for cheap low-end ones? I just want to be able to (wirelessly) internet and watch DVDs, and maybe edit photos and write. Simple, right? How much do I have to spend to make this happen?
