03.07.07 - Jokes for the John
1961 book of lewd jokes we got at an estate sale. All the jokes are about sex (swinging, affairs, whorehouses), with a few ethnic jokes thrown in. It is hanging up next to our toilet (of course). In the back of the book there is a list of other titles in the series, including More Jokes for the John, Poems for the John, and Guestbook for the John. Which just makes me want to put a guestbook next to our toilet, because the idea of people signing in is hilarious.
Otto got into Sean's paint yesterday. I had him upstairs in the studio (basically the only off-limits area in the house, but it is the pass-through to get to the family room) and took my eyes off him for a few seconds, which was all the time he needed. He seemed very pleased with himself.
Last night Sean and I went out for steaks at The Horsehead with a group of local artists who are making it a regular thing. It was a ton of fun, the conversation was great and the food was delicious.
