Things I was supposed to do today:

• Wash dishes
• Do laundry
• Clean up the apartment
• Go Christmas shopping
• Get groceries
• Get cat food & litter
  
• Return DVD player to Target
• Make dentist appointment
• Make hair appointment
• etc.
  

Things I actually did today:

• Scoured LJ icon communities getting icons for new fandoms
  
• Made icons for The Wire
• Uploaded new icons

My apartment may be a complete disaster and my fridge may be empty and I may be completely unprepared for the holiday gift-giving season, but lookit all the pretties! Seriously, y'all. *points to icon* Kima and Bubbles make me SO VERY HAPPY. Also, I inadvertently maybe got spoiled a teeny bit but it is totally okay, because in scrolling through hbo_thewire there was a link to an interview with the dude who plays Bubbles, in which he discusses his character's arc in Season 5, which means that Bubbles survives to Season 5, OMG YOU GUYS you have no idea how relieved I am. I was convinced he was gonna be killed off at any minute. It's kinda like how when someone starts watching due South, sometimes you have to spoil them just a teensy bit by saying "it's okay, don't worry, Diefenbaker lives". Bubbles is my Diefenbaker. :)

Something else I was reminded of when looking for icons: Pushing Daisies is an amazingly beautiful show. Wow.
