due South seems to be experiencing a sizable fannish resurgence lately, at least in my small corner of LJ. I can name offhand at least a dozen people (including myself) who have either discovered the show within the past month or two, or plan to start watching in the near future

I would do this, but only if we started with the third season. I'm strictly a Fraser/RayK person and don't really want to discuss the first two seasons. But, you start with BDTH, and I'm there.

I think it would be better to start at the beginning and go all the way through. Of course, anyone could participate or not during any given season.

Exactly - people can come and go as they please. It's only fair to try and include the entire run of the show.

Well, to be honest, that's not gonna happen, as it would shut a lot of dS fans out. But it doesn't mean you can't wait for - what, 41 weeks? - until we get to BDtH, and then join the discussion. That's perfectly acceptable!

I'm 100% firm on starting with the pilot, though.
