I HAVE A LOT TO SAY TO THIS POST. You've read the whole series (so far), right? I will remain spoiler-lite in case you haven't.

I agree, although on my re-read these last few months, I'm actually surprised at how much more magic there is in it than I recalled.

It's like EXTRA CANON. \o/

YES. It is the BEST. Gah. I love the extra scenes they're writing! That one between Robert & Cersei? <3_<3

I am also really excited for the show every week and I first read GoT when it came out fifteen years ago! Heh. They're doing a GREAT job. And I have an Arya vid song that I am SO EXCITED about, except I need season 2 source. /o\

But ARYA. AAAARRRRYYYAAA. And BRIENNE. And just...gah. So much love.

Yes I have read the whole series! I finished the fourth book about two years ago (my first time around I stalled about halfway through book 3). I'm rereading now, but am trying to keep pace with the show - so after each ep I revisit the relevant chapters in A Game of Thrones. Most likely I'll blaze through the other three books after the season is done!

That one between Robert & Cersei? <3_<3

TOTES! I think that one might be my faaaavorite. Although the Loras/Renly scene was hella cute. Oh, and Viserys and Mormont! Short but AWESOME. And Cersei and Joffrey!

heh, i have two friend who are passionately watching me read the books for the first time, one was sitting up waiting for me to hit THAT THING in book one and i got distracted and he went to bed, and i hit it at 1:30 am and i was all NEXT TIME JUST TELL ME TO KEEP READING BEFORE YOU GO TO BED! luckily friend #2 was there for me to wail at. she showed me the first episode, it's all her fault i'm trapped in this world.

omg that feature of http://towerofthehand.com/ looks AMAZING, though i am afraid of getting spoiled on my way to find the feature. i am almost done with storm of swords and just hit some SPOILERS and i am SO GLAD i was not spoiled going in, i have only been spoiled for one things and it was really not that exciting.
