For the umpteenth time, I can't sign up for courses on my registration day. This time it's not an internet related problem. It's a problem relating to my interview in Spring when they told me that I didn't need to take two courses in the program, because I wouldn't get credit for them.

Now I can't sign up for the next level of courses in the program because I don't have the requisites. I can't take them anymore because they won't be offered until fall of next year. I can't talk to anyone about it because advising hours are conveniently scheduled almost every day that I work. Except thursday. One whole week from today. To top it off, the guy doing the advising knows nothing about music or the music program. He told me that last time I went to see him in Spring regarding courses. (after I'd spent 2 hours busing up to SFU, and before I spent 2 hours busing home.)

By next week, when I talk to him, everyone will have already signed up. I'll have trouble getting into my tutorials (like I did this term when I ended up being 5 days late signing up due to SFU accidentally forgetting to charge me for something the year before and denying me access to registration). And having said that, there's a good chance they'll have made a mistake and won't let me in without the requisites.

I'm seriously considering dropping the program and getting a degree in French. I'm only one or two years away from that, anyway. I don't want to be here for another 5. And either way, it's not like I'm getting a career out of this, right?
