So it's 2:19 am and I'm being lazy about my physics hw. I fail to realize that I'm swamped. I have that physics hw due tomorrow, and I'm stuck on the last problem:
A toy cannon is placed on the floor of a large room with a ceiling whose height is H. The cannon fires its ball with speed Vo. The objective in this probem is to give an analytic expression for the farthest that the cannon can shoot (at the optimized angle) without having the ball hit the ceiling.
A) Below a certain Vo, call it Vcrit the presence of the ceiling does not affect the maximum range of the cannon. Find the range and the Vo at which the ceiling first limits the range.
B) Above Vcrit the ceiling limits the range. Find the range, R(H), in this regime.
C) How much does a ceiling with H=5m restrict the range of a cannon with Vo=20 m/s? Find the distance lost, Rlost.
So if anyone can help me out with parts B and C I'd be very happy. I've also got my first Calculus exam tomorrow (10% of my grade... woohoo!.... hey all u guys who have Mrs. Martinez, just letting you know that she's the best dam calculus teacher in the world, so pay attention!) and I've gotta memorize the periodic table by 10 am tomorrow, or rather, today. And what am I doing? I'm updating my LJ. :)
I've been sooo busy lately. It seems as if I study and I study and I learn nothing really until I go to someone to explain it to me. I was on the phone with my bro for about 2 hours trying to figure out some of my hw but then he had to go do his hw... and then my friend Mubarik came and since she might be a physics major she helped me out but she had to go to. I'm gonna have to get tutoring soon.
I eat soo much! And I haven't been to the gym in a week, I've been SO busy.
Actually I should stop right now and get to work before my roomate gets back so we can go over some stuff.
