Rolled out of bed feeling like I ran into a wall this morning, complete with migraine. Wound up wearing my fedora and sunglasses for most of the day to combat the sun issue (because the sun was out...which still feels weird). The drive to Maine felt fast. Guess driving back and forth between RI and Farmington has gotten me a little used to the haul. Reread Cat's Cradle on the way.
Otherwise, got to camp right on time. It got cloudy, raining tonight. Windy like hell. Water is...brisk. It's warmer when you get out of the lake. If the wind persists, fishing might not be on my list of things to do. And I always fish.
As it stands now, dad and bro are leaving tomorrow night to spend most of the week in RI. They'll be back Thursday-ish. Kristin and Ken are coming on down on Tuesday. Hopefully, it'll be nicer out so I can attempt to teach Ken to swim. I have the lifevests at the ready. Once I'm done drowning Ken, we'll all be packing back to Farmington. Which is fan-fucking-tastic! I'm staying with them at Kristin's apartment. Ethan will also be in town, but I will hold in most...weirdness concerning that here (but I'm jazzed, really). I also have a mission to get Abe out of the dorm for a little bit.
Weeeell, it's almost 11. I think I'm going to finish off last week's Drunk Tank or start working on my next major Photoshop project and go to bed.

Went down to the Point, got some sun and read a book I got at Walmart this morning. It was 600 pages of pure trashy novel and I finished it today. Hm. I supposed I'm going to have to read something a little more enriching next. Thinking about rereading the psych portions of Packaging Girlhood. Going to have to hit the used bookstores and see if they have anymore Vonnegut and possible some of CS Lewis' better books (Til We Have Faces, Arrowsmith or The Screwtape Letters. Preferably The Screwtape Letters).
I also found out that someone caught the largemouth I had a score to settle with and ate it. Um. Not cool guys, not cool. I feel less like fishing now with that and the wind. Blarg. It's not terrible out on the water today, but the wind's still strong enough to make heading out in a kayak or canoe a feat of strength. I'm surprised I haven't gotten my camera out yet. I think I'll probably head out with it tomorrow and snap photos.
Got a couple pages out for drawing and some stuff that's been waiting in my Photoshop queue for far too long. Finishing up burning CDs for Ken. Wrote prompts for my turn at
