The waiting is getting to be right annoying. Waiting for someone, anyone, to call saying I've got a job (but, on the other hand, my dad finally admitted that my chances of getting a job when RI has a 15% unemployment rate are slim at best...it was an odd moment because when I got back from AB he was irate I'd spent so much on it with no job to come home to). Waiting to hear back from his car dealer, who's at the auction today (fingers crossed, everyone, for a silver, black or dark green Escape). Waiting to get said car so I can list myself for horse and childcare. Waiting to visit Maine in July (I get to see Rocky and Dustin and Nicholas and Kristin and Ethan, win win, hoorah social happenings in Farmington). Waiting for school to get back in because being home just isn't as fun as it used to be. D:
On the other hand, if I look at this in terms of media consumption, I ought to be queen of cultural references when I get back to school. In the past month, I've watched all of
Pushing Daisies,
Futurama (including the movies and Futurama fans
rejoice!, rewatched the first two series of
Doctor Who, mourn the passing of
Reaper, can't wait for the new season of
True Blood and, best of all, the Red vs Blue summer cycle:
Recreation. Oh, I need to get out house a little bit more. XD
Then all the movies. Lots and lots of movies. My pile of homemade DVDs is getting to point where it could be described as large. Or prodigious.
