i was going through some papers at dusty's and i found this poem. he wrote it about me back when we started dating. he's not sure exactly when. probably within the first 2 months. this was the first time i saw it. i think its sweet.

You're Always On My Mind

I think about you through the day
Regardless of the time
I wonder what you're doing
And hope you're feeling fine

I think about your pretty face
And your lovely smile
I wonder if you think of me
All the waking while

When need be I can focus
On any other task
But once I'm done you're the one
My idling mind can grasp

I pray that God stays near me
And holds me in His arms
'Cause without you He's the only one
To comfort me from harm

I think about the way you care
And how it seems you're always there

I love it when you listen
To everything I say
I want to be with you more and more
With every passing day

You're sweet and smart and soft
Your touch simply is divine
I want to hold your hand
And feel our fingers become entwined

I want to hear your voice
And look into your eyes
And hold you tightly in my arms
And feel you by my side

So, dear friend, I miss you
And while I'll be just fine
I wanted to simply let you know
You're always on my mind
