Yesterday

So anyway...yesterday happened...yesterday (perhaps that statement is too obvious). So I guess everybody's wondering what happened to me yesterday. Quite a lot, in fact. I went to the doctor in the morning. To my relief, he did not have to medicate me (yet). However, he asked me if I was experiencing any "symptoms" or anything. The way he phrased it, it made me sound as though he thought I were mildly bipolar.

A while after that I goofed off at home. My cousin Matthew (who is only 2 years old) came over with his mum, my Aunt Steph. I showed him my little hamster, Jude, who he held. I also put on a song from one of my favorite albums (Revolver). I made him listen to Yellow Submarine, his favorite song. (Oddly enough, when the Beatles were first popular, my grandma wouldn't let her kids, including my mum, listen to them. Nowadays I can sing Yellow Submarine to Matthew and she doesn't say a darned thing.)

Then came the real thing I was looking forward to all day: my sleepover with Aunt Dee-dee. She came to my house, and we went to dinner. After that, we loitered a bit at the mall, picked up some photos of hers she'd given to be developed, then she took me to the nearest Barnes and Noble, where I loitered in the CD section. Yes, we did a lot of loitering. I was able to convince her to buy me a Doors album, which she did. Some of the songs on it are quite good.

So here I am now, sitting and typing at my aunt's house. The plans for today are not totally certain, but I do believe that there's a fairly good chance that tonight I may go see the Prince Caspian movie with her. That'd be awesome. I do like Narnia.

sleepover, getting a new album, plans for the day, doctor, hamster, dinner, album, cousin matthew, aunt dee-dee, yellow submarine, the doors, aunt steph, jude
