As some of you know, Mum and I took on another Bosnian family to help with care-packages.
We have been doing that for 12 years with a family, Mum, Dad, 2 girls. Also a family Mum, two boys and a Grandmother (lost contact with them a couple of years ago)
Last weekend I got FB messages from a 16-year-old girl that just had a baby. Turned out she was a friend of the two girls from our other family. She needed help with baby stuff, so I talked with Mum and we said yes to help her.
Therefore, we spend a few days last week to find baby clothes, and baby stuff. Visited a “Mothers Help” store and “The Church Army” store and bought some nice clothes. The Knitting Ladies donated some of their stuff they had made for “Pink Saturday” last year, and we got much adult clothes from the neighbors.
Thursday evening I had one of the attacks - it has been a long time - but this time I was in the kitchen and went down on the floor, hitting my head and one arm (that is now black and blue) Called Mum and she came to check om me, making sure I was ok, and making me call her before I went to sleep.
Therefore, I took it easy on Friday.
Saturday, Mum and I went grocery shopping and needed two banana boxes from KIWI (they always have boxes) just that yesterday they didn`t have any. This was Saturday evening, so when I got home I called the grocery places in our area. Finally, I found REMA 1000 and the girl would keep two boxes for us. So last evening Mum and I took the bus, shopped, and collected the boxes.
Later I went through all the clothes and collected the stuff for the boxes.
Then bedtime - HAHAHA -right after brushing my teeth, I had one violent nosebleed - 45 minutes with my head over the toilet, a wild flow of blood getting out of my nose. I was dizzy when I got it under control, blood all over the toilet, sink and myself. Then 30 minutes with me in bed, gulping down the blood that ran back into my mouth. EEK… But I had a nice read; D.W.Skinners Xperiment (you should really read it, if you haven`t)
However, in the end I went to sleep.
Today I packed the two parcels, having printed letters and address papers out yesterday. So today, it was packing and printing out Toll lists….NOT...
For some reason my printer wouldn`t cooperate.
After an hour of screaming, and panicking I ended up writing two Toll lists in Bosnian by hand. Then our driver called in sick so we had to take and pay for a Taxi…
However, we made it...
Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment - hate that - but my left breast, the one that had cancer 9 years ago, has gone really hot and tender and along with the nose bleeds I just need to have it looked at.
(Ohh yeah, I had ordered a really pretty red blonde dress for my niece Rebeccas konfirmaton in April, and it was to small. So tight around my belly and bum, that I have to send it back)
Not my week :(
Sorry for all the depressing news here, I hope tomorrow will bring something happy for me to share.
