ON THE SECOND LAST DAY OF 2009

Dec 30, 2009 21:08

I’ve been busy today.

As I have promised to cook for New Year, which will be only my parents and myself for dinner, I had a lot of shopping to do. But for once I made a perfect shopping list, knew exactly what to buy and where to buy it.
My parents picked me up at one in the afternoon and off we went.
First to the bank to get some money, the to one store for some special things.

Then we went to the cemetery as I wanted to visit my friend Marie. Unfortunately her grave is in a lawn and everything was covered with 10cm of ice and snow, so we couldn’t find it. We dug through some of the snow in the right area but no luck. So I put down the flowers with a tree and promised her that I would come back for her birthday.

The next stop was the pharmacy and the library and the store next door which had sodas on sale.
Last stop was the two stores right across from where we live.

I got everything that I had on my list, and a few things that I hadn’t, I even got a party hat;)
I wanted to buy my Dad a hat looking like a pink pig with wings, but for some strange reason he didn’t want it;)

I was home again at 3.45 pm and was rather tired, so I just sat down and relaxed for a couple of hours until I went down to my parents for dinner and planning.

I’ll make a proper Happy New Year post tomorrow so this is all for now.
