I got my skirt from hot topic, on clearance which means can't return all sales final (I could always sell it on ebay) IT"S TOO BIG!!!!!!

Right now life doesn't get any more miserable than this now I don't know what size I am and I might fit into cute little pants that I can't figure out bc I'm not trying them on *SNIFFLE SOB WHINE MORE TEARS*
argh!! granted....too big is better than too small, still wearable...take inable...and if I get fat...def. keepable!!
I just think of all the things in a med I could have gotten now that prob. aren't there....ok....wait, what am I saying there isn't that much at hot topic I want but yeah still....watch, just my luck I'll get a med and need a freaking small...that would be a FIRST for my bottom half!! I can't believe I'm swimming in a large... :-O I suppose the smart thing to do would be to haul my ass over to the hot topic store and try on pants in the brand I'm looking to get online but nooooo I don't have time for that so....wish me luck I'm back on my up down shopping HIGH! wait, there's an adorable skirt that only comes in a small....which only goes to size 5, which is 37" hips and I'm 39" but that's a loose 39" and in that catagory I was swimming in this lg.....hmmmmmm....dare I? Do I go to the store and try on something by the same brand or wing it?? I'm so not up for going shopping right now...can I wait till sunday and possibly ddddrrrag xcentrica with me but I DON"T LIKE WAITING what if they run out of Mediums by then and it turns out I need the medium? EEK you can see how I work myself into a tizzy...I'm trying to figure out how to haul my ass to the mall today but....eek the mall....I don't even know if I can get there...I know I get on the highway...er...this is why I have a navigation phone...um...mall...to mall or not to mall...my back is killing me...I should rest for tomorrow...but I need my shopping fix...uh...uh...uh....fuck the mall fuck clothes fuck it..I'll....wait?

went to the mall (after getting lost twice) lugged myself to hot topic, was hot by then from pushing my chair, huffed and puffed my way whining the whole time. Sales guy ran around finding the right size and brand pants and skirts I was looking for and after much energy usage (mostly with trying to get my shoes on and off) I'm almost as baffled as when I went IN the store. Ended up bumping into endofauniverse who works there, just her lucky day she got to witness and help me through my fashion meltdown. (this is as bad as it gets so if you can take this yeah). The size med. skirt was swimming on me although it was a mini but hey, the waist was swimming, and the small get this SMALL MEEEEE, fit perfect, BUT with pants, I was thinking it would be 7 or 9 based on the skirt, WRONG, tried an 11 which fit, tight...hip huggers but they didn't leave any room for your butt...just a stomach...so they fit but, I look like an "after" on the jenny craig commercial with someone holding their waistband! I ended up dragging endofauniverse back into the dressing room (that's what you get for telling me you'll help me shop and also working at the store lol) asking her HELP WTF IS THIS?! WHAT DO I DDOOOOOOO what is wrong with these people??? I decided that, for 13 dollars I will buy these pants bc they are really cute, zoom in, they will look great with a babydoll top I think... size 11 and I can put grommets in to lace them up and take them in...or just pinch and sew...I dunno ;) I'll also be adding lacing to the bottoms of the legs too.
buffalogal thanks for the shirt talk, you gave me a great inspiration! I have these cord knicker pants I got ages ago that were too small, I ripped out the sides and was going to add panels, fit said pannels when I was skinny, now skinny again I figured maybe I'd sew em up but what a pain, and if I gained weight ugh, so thanks to your idea, screw sewing them, I'm going to lace them up the sides!!! yeah I'll put in a partial pannel around my butt area and let the rest hang loose and wear em with stockings or none...
So, I ended up also ordering this skirt I just got in a large got it in a small...lace up zip off mini and this skirt was only in small and I sooo wanted it, endofauniverse and I think it will fit based on what happened at the store so I'm crossing my fingers bc I love it, it'll go well with my dressier tops for when I have to look more normal...
still got the jitters...ok, I admit it, I have a small shopping problem...stuffing my emotions into material joys...I'm stressing and trying to reinvent myself after grief, find myself at 30, and cope with my brother's surgery...I guess this is my outlet...hey, it's cheap, total: 61 dollars and change ;) SCORE!!!! Them there be walmart prices!! I sorta wanted to hang around and try a couple of fitted tops but I didn't have the energy to change and thought I should get home and be here for my brother on his last day of seeing his legs for the next month... (he'll be in casts on his feet to his knees) Wish us luck :)
