You're a right mess.
Home from hospital yesterday afternoon, did you really expect things to be different?
No, quite frankly you expected to be dead. You didn't expect to get carted to A&E. You didn't expect to have to drink charcoal. You didn't expect to vomit and faint and get a black eye and bruises everywhere.
Your faithful flatmate, who to be honest was brilliant, told her parents. Who went round and told yours. They came over to the hospital just as you were being discharged. The pain and horror and despair in their eyes. And then the "looking after". To be expected, probably. But you just can't stand it.
You escaped house arrest today, and now feel so so numb.
