WHY IS IT MONDAY?! BOO!
Anyways I had an awesome weekend. Rhys and Liz came to visit and we watched:
Christopher and his kind: I don’t think Christopher was a very likeable character, and it felt a bit like Matt Smith had given up on playing him towards the end, but that might just be because the book was written that way. Anyway we were all happy about the rampant sexy times and Dr Footface’s astoundingly beautiful boyfriend Heinz. I don’t even know where you’d find a boy that beautiful.
Fruits Basket: I’ve read a lot of the manga which, like the anime, is very cute but with annoying characters. Rhys and I were in a cute coma throughout. The female lead, Tohru, is a drippy pain in the bum. She keeps making the men naked (by accidentally turning them into unbelievably cute tiny animals) and then dying of shame. And if anyone is mean to her then she seems to love them more. Closet sub, clearly! :D
I made them watch X factor. We laughed at Janet and her weird dance in the M&S ad. She looks like she’s being hung.
Then in the morning we watched lots of Buffy and were nostalgic and rude about professor walsh’s downstairs. I now want to go on a marathon Buffy watch. Possibly with blogging.
I phoned Bec yesterday and chatted a bit too. She’s awesome isn’t she? We all love a Bec! :D
