(no subject)
Wow, I haven't updated in forever... I've been too busy having too much fun! Brown is amazing. Particularly today! Its raining so hard that the basement of Verney Wooley where the nearest dining hall is, is flooding. I was sitting at one of the tables under the eaves of the roof and I looked behind me through the windows into the corridor and saw something floating along the hallway. I was so weirded out until I figured out there was water running along the hall!! It was insane, people were wading through it. They got the suction thing out pretty fast it was just so funny to watch the first 5 minutes where the water just crept up on everyone. And then there was water flowing down the streets and across Pembroke campus. Like the steps looked like a waterfall. Again, so cool!
Lets see, what else to update you on...
I got into VA11, which was the advanced foundations course I was dying to take. And I got into Journalism which was also entry by portfolio or rather by a writing assignment she gave us plus anything else we'd done. She doesn't let in many freshmen either so I feel really special. I'm also taking Arms Control which is the most amazing class ever. It's basically debate only better. And our teacher sadly isn't holding office hours this week... she's in Geneva. But that's ok, she can get us lots of copies of treaties because she WROTE THEM. I love college. And its even better cause Alexander and Will have managed to weasel their way into the class too! So I have the fabulous boys with me.
Oh yes, Alexander. For all of you who aren't (a) facebook stalkers, (b) in Andrews or Wayland, (c) freya... UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. hehehehhehe. Me like. And he likes me. And its all good. So yes.. I'm happy. very happy.
