Summer vacation hasn't even officially begun and already I wish I were back in school. That sounds really pathetic but it's not even school that I miss. It's the socializing. Everyone's on project all day and I don't know why but I can't even get up the energy to call people up and go out. At school at least I had the every day banter. And little things like hugging Sarah in the halls or Kimmy coming and saying "boo" or a sparring match in TOK or laying bets on who would be latest to French class. Its the stupid things like that that I miss. And some classes were fun, like Westhoff's and the wonderful TOK. I can't wait until I get to Brown.

Now that I've firmly established myself as a dork in my first entry no less, I have to rave about WICKED. It was so unbelievably brilliant. My sister and I (with parents) went to Chicago last weekend and in addition to wandering around, taking the "architectural cruise of Chicago" (fun, even if a bit geeky) and seeing Millenium Park, the Shedd, etc, we saw Wicked! We even got to see the New York players since they were on tour to open Chicago's off-broadway version. Wow... I know I gave up my dreams of being an aspiring actress a long time ago but that doesn't stop me from envying the hell out of everyone who was in that production. The set was brilliant too, a clock theme and... wow, I can't even describe it here. Costumes, score, chorus, everything amazing.

Right, time for me to stop spazzing and return to Orson Scott Card and slowly moving my pathetic little fanfiction from one site to another (and rewriting it to move everything from "you" to "her." I doubt there's much more annoying than that, which might explain why (with fanfic's servers mysteriously down) I am indulging in some good quality literature (ish). No, they truly are some of the best books I've ever read and that includes LOTR. And since I think I have managed to beg, buy and be given every single one of the Ender books (finally) I think I ought to just finish them and be done with it. (ha... done with it! who am I kidding. I've read Ender's Game about 10 times already!
