Wow... I have been so lazy, haven't been updating at all. Busy weekend coming up--fourth of July etc. I've got Bill's grad party, the DSO Concert, the Maiki's, etc etc. And the first major college shopping trip tomorrow! Well, college and a new swimsuit and earrings. A new swimsuit because yes... as I described it to Preeya, the old one has gone from V to \ )( / if you can understand my very artistic meaning. I'll let you stew on that for a bit if you're among the slower people. I'm dorkishly excited about the earrings though. Only three weeks to the day until I can change them. I have a pair of little hoops but I want to get some big dangly ones. So if anyone wants to buy me a graduation present (even though I'm not having a party) hint hint, nudge nudge.
What else to say? Computer's finally back from the helpdesk (Only what? three weeks this time? Four? That's not too bad). I got kicked out of the house by realtors today, second time this week, and so I went and hung out at Borders, looking for the new Orson Scott Card book (they didn't have it!! Neither did Barnes and Nobles! Where did you get yours, Robin?), and I happened to meet a teacher from DCD third grade! I was so amused. And yes, she said "Oh, where are you going? Brown? Oh, that's amazing. I had a cousin who went there..." (I seriously think that everyone has a cousin who went to Brown) "... he loved it!" (I've never heard of anyone who's been there and not loved it, which with any luck is a good sign for me!) So yes, I talked to her for a bit and it was so strange. Ms Bailey and Psaila and Prichard are all still teaching... people who taught me when I was tiny! It's so odd to think of. But I suppose it's only been what, less than ten years. Ten years... oh my god, I can think in decades. I feel old!
Ah, I better go watch some juvenile movie. Alice in Wonderland maybe? I do realize that it's past midnight and I just finished watching Saved! (best movie ever) and I'm going shopping in the morning. Oh, I really fancy Bend it Like Beckham. Ok, I'm going to go back to AIM before I start watching one of these movies and I'm up until 4am... like I was last night... hmmm.
