Days have been very busy. I am tired but happy.
I went to the ATP festival and it was great. They had great bands and all the concerts where indoors and everyone had rooms so no mud involved. My bloody valentine played every night and they were amazing. I loved de la soul, and lightning bolt and it is undeniable the horrors have a pretty awesome record. I spotted Rosanna Arquette next to me at the sonic youth concert and wanted to be her friend. During the day we stayed at the water park that have massive slides with strange twists and turns and ate junk food or played dancing games at the arcade.
Afonso is in France this week and I am working 12 hours a day, so my flat is a mess.
Yesterday my dreams came true and Noel Fielding, (who I've been obsessing about for the past 2 months, watching every episode of never mind the buzzcock while blushing and giggling at his every comment) walked into my office and my heart rushed and I felt like I was 14, completely star-struck. He was looking at the office next to ours, but I am guessing he is not going to rent it since it is a shitty office with no windows.
To complete my absolute teen day I left the office, got myself some ice-cream as lunch and met my boss for the st Trinian's premier. The theatre was filled with screaming 14 year olds and I felt my worst walking down the red carpet with no make up on and wearing my work clothes while eating a chocolate ice-cream cone, disappointing all the teens screaming for girls aloud and similar. Then me and my boss had dinner with friends at a mexican place, and the main subject was the Tiger Woods scandal. This sums up a good day.
I can't wait to go to Lisbon next week and get together with everyone and meet Mia's new dog, Panchita.
