I don't even like poetry
But I'm taking contemporary poetry anyway I guess
Something pretentious batting around in my head:
normal normal normal normal
Glossy masks,
imposed on falsehoods
surely do
show fissures.
A willful distance
insulates a secret
that even I
am ignorant of.

I may have a favourite artist in Alphonse Mucha. Even his name is pretty great. I may endeavor to attempt a Art Nouveau style, thought I may be setting myself up for failure; I'm not very good at plants, trees, fabric and flowery things.
