[There is a moment of silence before a loud sigh is heard over the device. Tapping the end of what seems to be her pipe onto her desk, it is not yet evident the mood or tone of the speaker.]
... well, well, well. It looks like we've got a little ban on naughty words and pornography here, even for us faculty--for which, we would be fired anyways for the last part of that, despite the fact we are all older than most of the students.
[The pipe hits the desk only once more before the flicker of a lighter and the blowing of smoke.]
Until this ban is lifted, I suggest a temporary truce between us, Mr. Shu and Professor Minamimoto. In fact, I even suggest a faculty meeting--Dr. Crescent, Professor Weinberg, Professor Hojo, Professor Reid, and Professor Hewley, I think it would be best if we all had a meeting together to discuss this--formality.
[Although unseen, it is very evident in her voice that she ended "formality" with a toxic tone in her voice; evidently disapproving the current situation for the network journals, although for what reason is still unknown.]
Regardless of whether or not you approve of it, my fellow faculty, I think we ought to discuss this with each other to at least decide a formal guideline for our conduct and to pass onto our students, seeing as how Dean Marcellus feels it is necessary to teach us as well. After all, if we cannot even decide for ourselves, how can we expect our students to follow us?
If you are interested, please let me know. If we need to, we can hold this in my office. Although I'm sure there are other places on campus that would accomodate us as well. I intend to at least meet at my office on Friday at 5:30 PM. Again, I encourage all faculty, regardless of support or not, to come open-minded and willing to discuss a formal guideline for our behaviors on this journal.
I apologize, students, that you had to see this. Unfortunately, we've had our filters taken away as well.
[With a click, Rakshata terminates the recording and ends the post.]
