Wonder what she said that was so funny at that moment?

There might be two or three new readers lately, if so, welcome!

If you have an LJ or other blog, let me know, or if ya just want to leave a comment, it's down there in the "sssecretsss" link. I'm trying to re-establish contact with more hometown and madison folks, when I think of it. My LJ has different themes for different months, at least for now. October Halloween clips, and December xmas clips, mostly retro, at least until youtube isn't what it is now.

My LJ started as mostly random inside jokes with me and one of my colleagues here in Madison, but has become all that and a bit more. November 2006 was all about Laurie Anderson, January 2007 dream stories by me and my friends, and February is about animation, March about meditation/visualization/hypnosis. Plus every month tends to contain some archiving of whatever photos/artwork I'm scanning, memories, rants, blather. Some days are more interesting/amusing/intense than others, so i hope you'll bookmark the page and check back whenever you get bored online, or just anytime. I will probably go through and put more tags in entries and post tag links since I'm not sure if that's any easier to find with LJ's new format. I know the template I use does not list tags like some of the others do. If you want to share links, photos, or anything else here, it's easy to find me through email or here.

Kerstin Sjoquist, creator and hypnotic muse, has lots of Bliss Trips and other fine material on her website. Nice.
See whatcha think.

Today's clip is another, slightly shorter guided hypnosis by Circies, this one 6 or 7 minutes.

Why do ten year marks seem more significant than other anniversaries of events? It was, I think, the beginning of march 1997, after ten years of being vegetarian, that i went vegan. That lasted for about seven years. Then I started eating eggs again, thinking if i had more sources of protein i would get back on the low-carb wagon easier. Didn't work. Finally the fact that I was scrambling and eating actual eggs grossed me out, and i quit eggs around that fall. I think it was election night 2004, when i had ordered vegan, cheese, and meat pizzas for my election result-watching party, that I started gnawing on the cheese again. Now I have cut back on that, for a number of reasons that I don't wish to get into here today. I don't really crave diary products that often, although I do think cheese is way harder to quit than quitting meat or eggs.
