(no subject)

Johnny Bobylon greets the spring,
a season that arrives first on the roof, then on the ground!

In todays clip, a nice British kid has a cute little video that is really about two things.
First it is what hypnosis is not, and then it's instructions to try for self-hypnosis.
You'd have to read them and remember them later, as you'll see. And turn down the speaker volume a little as the music, while not objectionable, is a bit distracting.

And now a little review of yet another recording I found for cheap
at a library sale or yard sale...
Mark Allen has an echoey effect going on with his voice, which makes it a bit muddled-sounding, and almost sounds like a parody of guided meditations. Stress Reduction & Creative Meditation has two different types of meditations on it. Different subject matter, but they go together. Once you get used to his voice, and the way it's presented, it's relaxing. Sometimes, when it comes to stress and worries, all you need is to be reminded that "you don't need any of it." Which is something Mark starts out the recording I have with. Of course a lot of these types of recordings try to convince you to let go of your worries and preoccupations for at least a limited amount of time, since most of us think we won't remember to, um do anything we need to do, or be able to prevent catastrophe if we ain't frettin. Granted there are other approaches, but that is a skill of meditating, setting it ALL aside, if only for a few minutes. Or long enough to fall asleep, which is the way I do. When it comes to doin' stuff, or taking a break from the stuff of doing, there's a right way, a wrong way and the Pipetti way. I like it.
