2004: The Year That........
.........really sucked.
Welcome my friends to 2005. I am so thrilled to put 2004 behind me. My expectations for 2005 are quite high. I hope that doesn't end up biting me in the ass. At the very least, this year has to be better than last. That's not saying very much considering how much I hated 2004, but little steps forward are better than none at all. Instead of dwelling on the evil that permeated my year, I'd like to look back at some of the good things that happened. Shocked as you may be, I'm going to take a stab at looking at the bright side. *waits for friends list to recover from shock*
So lets see what positive things happened in 2004? *hears crickets*
*January 2004: Discovered Diet Coke with Lime
*February 2004: Met sailboat57 & mooregasm2003 in Cleveland for a SmackDown taping. (How many Coronas did I actually drink???)
* March 2004: Bought new tv; WrestleMania 20; a wedding for couchrules; got to hang out with sailboat57, mooregasm2003 & dirtyjersey47 in Columbus.
*April 2004: Other than a WWE show, April appears to have sucked pretty badly.
*May 2004: Got a new car; The Kid went fishing for the first time.
*June 2004: The Kid meets Rhyno; Bad Blood in Columbus; vacation to Cape Cod
*July 2004: Family camping trip; The Kid gets a mohawk; my first column is posted on The Fringe; previously mentioned column is also posted on the HWA website; discovered Diet Cherry Coke.
*August 2004: Sold the old car; The Kid starts second grade.
*September 2004: A family wedding; an end to the stress filled day as an office worker.
*October 2004: A new job; another family wedding.
*November 2004: Eh, this month pretty much sucked.
*December 2004: Sabu show in Detroit; The Kid's 8th birthday; HWA show in Dayton; the end of the year!
So that, ladies & gentlemen, is the highlights of 2004 according to Piper.
