Suggestions for DC Area?
My mom is coming to visit me in June for the first time ever. I have lived in VA since 8th grade so its a big deal. I am trying to plan stuff for us to do and am looking for suggestion. Are there places my mom should see or visit? I have to admit that I actually haven't done much "touristy" stuff over the years. I have some ideas but want to come up with a bunch of options for her to pick from. Do you recommend a tour of the Capital Bldg. or the White House? What else?!
