Let's just stop and talk about this for a second.
what the fuck. So. I started working on Hedwig and the angry inch as an ASM, where what i did for 4 months was sit on my ass for 5+hours at rehearsal doing absolutly FUCKING NOTHING. Then, I did "Company" as a Spot Op. Company gave me credits for my Major. Hedwig is not. and yet the "Powers that be" of hedwig still had the audacity to ask me why i wasn't at Hedwig when i had a few days off from Company. Now let's just discuss this. Why the fuck would i go to hedwig if i'm helping out with company? All of the work that was being put off during the 2 straight weeks of Company rehearsal was done during these breaks, and how the hell would i be able to do hedwig when i have to do all this work? I can't even verbalize how angry and stressed i am right now. Hedwig sucks. The organization of hedwig sucks. and directors shouldn't place themself as the lead in the show their directing.
